Everyday Mineral Review

A few weeks ago I received my sample of Everyday Mineral ( check out that blog for pics ), They do have a lot of shades and it honestly took me a long time pick what I wanted in my sample kit. Just take a few minutes and read the descriptions. I think it really helped me. Two out of three shades were perfect for me.

- Buttered Tan ( intensive base )
- Winged Butter ( semi matte base )
These two shades together were perfect for me. Love it.
- Medium Beige Neutral ( semi matte base ), Eh this is okay.
- Multi-tasking ( concealer ). Honestly it did nothing for me.

I've been using this for 3 and half weeks and I love it! I use it everyday and the sample container still looks really full. I would definitely order the Flat Top Brush to apply the foundation.

As for the two blush, I love em too. If I you can only order one. I would recommend Summer Stroll.

-Salon fun, it's purple! but I think it applies like bronzer. Made me look a little tan.
-Summer stroll, tangerine-ish with a little be of a sheen.

I was looking for a dup for Shiseido's "Tangerine Margarine" which they discontinued. Pretty sad. This is pretty close. It even closer when I use it on top of MAC Joyous.

I will most likely order the full size.

Ikea food

If you see it. Buy it and try it. I don't think I would ever buy this.
But after trying it from my coworker. Wow am I missing out. Haha you
can see that I'm easily pleased.

I was on the train early in the morning. I heard a voice
coming behind me "can you give me a dollar for food and
coffee?". It was an old Indian man. I must say that was the first
time. But I guess you can't classify being broke by ethnicity. How bad
do you need the money if you have to start at 830 in the morning?

Eddie and I often try to support the ones that really look like they
need the money. I know that's prob not the best way but that's the
easiest for us.

This man had white hair. No one gave him money in my car. I reached to
get my dollar but he left the train.

Who wouldn't want to feed an old man?

Happy Easter to everyone! ( sorry a day late ) I personally refer to this holiday the "egg holiday". We really don't celebrate it.

What did you do this weekend? I had an amazing time in Lancaster! =) Had my first Fuddruker 1/3 burger. It was mighty good!

On Sunday, I organized my makeup (again) . Oh yes I bought beads container to hold loose shadow/ pigments. GDI, I really hate talking about makeup ALL the time but it's so fun to organize things.

Watched the movie Bolt this weekend. My bro didn't think it was that good but I "more then like it" but "less then love it". I will watch it again tho.

No more The Limited

It's official. I no longer have a reason to visit The Kings Plaza mall. They closed down the Limited store!! WHY?!! I am actually quite upset. The next closest Limited store is in the Staten Island mall and Wow it's 10 Washingtings to cross the Verrazano?

I guess I can always place an order on their website.

MAC MAC MAC

I had a really long day at work. By lunch time I really needed a pick me up. Perhaps some retail therapy? I went to the Company Cosmetics Store with my coworker and basically paid (in my opinion) probably too much for two MAC products (did I mention that I'm cheap?) I mean, I had two perfectly good reason to buy them.

1. I don't own ANY MAC eyeshadow. I deserve at least one right?
2. I don't own ANY MAC paint pot. I deserve at least one right?

I know I know... anything to make myself feel better. Haha but thanks Hun. I love em'.

Everyday Mineral

Yeah!! I finally received my order of Everyday Mineral. My boyfriend recently moved to a building with a door man so I figured I can just ship it to his place. Great idea right?? wrong.... I put down the wrong address and the shipment was return to the company and I'm out $3.68 for shipping and handling. Anyways, after all of that I reordered and received my order on Saturday!

They have a free sample kit that you can order, all you have to do is pay for shipping. Not bad right? They have a HUGE selection of shades (43) the sample kit is suppose to help you pick the color best for you.

Here is what you get in the sample kit:














The website will ask you to choose 3 different foundations, a concealer and a blush.
Blush was a recommendation from a Youtube Makeup Guru (YMG), in Summer Roll.

Since I'm paying for shipping already. I bought two more items =/ . What's pretty cool about the company is that, you can buy sample sizes for $2.50.














I got the
- Black eyeliner (right), it's kinda different since it's a powder. I haven't tried it yet.
- Another blush, in Salon Fun (left), a YMG recommendation.
- and Flat Top Brush also a YMG recommendation.

I used the foundations and the blush today. I must say it's not bad but I'll have to see in maybe about a week.
